News: The Casey Group Lands Contract for e-Business Solution

Parsippany, New Jersey, July 14, 2003: The Casey Group, a premier provider of IT Management Consulting services, Application Development and Integration and Application Outsourcing, today announced receipt of a contract award from The Diocese of Metuchen, New Jersey.

The application development contract calls for design, development and integration of a contribution and payment system on the Diocesan web site. This system will allow parishioners and other contributors from the Diocese's 108 parishes to make contributions to the Bishops' Annual Appeal and other fund raisers via the Internet using highly secure credit card, debit card and electronic check authorizations.

Tom Toolan, Director of Finance for the Diocese explained, "We are providing this as a service option to our half-million members in the parish communities. Today, many of our families are comprised of busy households where both parents work and are typically Internet savvy. This feature will allow them to make their contributions on-line, 24 x 7, and have the deductions automatically charged to their credit cards in a highly secure environment."

In addition, The Diocese will be able to generate Thank you notices, donation summaries and allow contributors to both view and modify payment amounts or schedules.

The initial roll out is scheduled for early September, to coincide with the 2003 Bishops' Annual Appeal. Once completed, the system will be configured to allow the addition of multiple donation targets, including the Bread and Roses Catholic Charities event, the Annual Golf Outing, and simply one-time unsolicited contributions.
